Happy Pride Month!! Congratulations to "The Fisher-Ma'ams" on tying the knot! Since the day they booked us we've felt a real kinship with Jess & Ky, and Brad even shares their affinity to fishing. They are sweet, funny and amazing ladies. For their wedding day, we could really tell that a lot of meaningful and heartfelt planning went into it. It was stunning! Not only for guests, but for us to be a part of and to photograph. There were so many emotional moments. Many happy tears were shed. The week leading up to the special day we were keen to keep an eye on the weather forecast. It wasn't looking good. A chance of thunderstorms and rain threatened to put a crimp in the plans. ...
Working with our photography in new and very neat locales is one of the biggest reasons we enjoy it. The gracious owners of Bondi Cottage Resort made us feel immediately at home. They tell us that they'd really like to host more weddings there and we certainly hope to return and work with future couples, as well. One of the ways Maggie and Thomas wanted to make their wedding day special, was to have a pre-ceremony "first touch". For this, we guided a blindfolded Thomas into the library room, very carefully towards Maggie's outstretched arms. It made for a sweet moment! Not letting a few intermittent showers dampen their spirits (pun fully intended), and surrounded by family and friends ...
This wedding day will be one to remember! Gorgeous locations, breathtaking florals, great food and being surrounded by warm, generous people. This super adventurous couple, Dave and Nubia, felt an abundance of love on their wedding day. We loved their willingness to go off the beaten path a bit with us, to Hoggs Falls. With Dave's help, Nubia trekked down the cliffside while holding the rope in one hand and her dress in the other. After completing our photos at the basin of the falls, we realized that our keys had been accidentally locked in our truck. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers - another couple who was hanging out at the park at the same time. Our truck had been the ...
Bayfield, Ontario has to be one of the most generous and friendly towns we've ever had the pleasure to photograph in. As an example, while we walked around with the bride, groom and the wedding party the owner of Rosie's Ice Cream Shoppe offered to treat everyone to their choice of any flavour of ice cream. We all indulged. Simultaneous to this, a representative of the local Chamber of Commerce excitedly came out to greet us and offer congratulations to Emma and Zack, and even take a few photos for posterity. We even had an easy time navigating and capturing indoor photos at the lovely heritage building known as The Little Inn. They were SO helpful and accomodating! We can't ...

Fall weather can be beautiful, resplendent with warm colours and hazy late day light. It can also be harsh and unpredictable. Fortunately, we had the former for our first time shooting a wedding at this amazing venue: Crescent Hill Acres. Located near Sarnia, Ontario, the main barn has been thoughtfully renovated with bride's and groom's needs in mind, first. The gorgeous rural property is sprawling and is surrounded by farmland. It even has on site accommodations for the wedding party to stay at and get ready on the big day! It's everything you could want in a venue. With Liam & Emily we had such a blast! They really allowed us (and even encouraged us) to get creative. We were ...
